The UAE government recently announced new decisions aimed at granting long-term residence visas for expatriates in the UAE, and these visas can be renewed automatically according to a number of categories and a number of conditions that must be met in the applicant to obtain residency.

In the event of obtaining a long-term visa, expatriate or expatriate can live and study in the Emirates and their families without the need for an Emirati sponsor.

Conditions for obtaining a long-term residence permit for expatriates in the UAE for a period of 10 years

Initially, investors who want to obtain a ten-year residence visa must have investments in the UAE of no less than ten million dirhams

  1. The investor must have a deposit in an investment fund in the country of not less than 10 million dirhams.
  2. The investor must have a company with a capital of at least 10 million dirhams.
  3. The investor must be a partner in a company, but provided that his share in it is not less than 10 million dirhams.
  4. That the investor has a number of investments within the UAE, and that its total value not be less than 10 million dirhams, bearing in mind that his investment in non-real estate should not be less than 60%.
