The State of Kuwait reduces the costs of coming and going for all airline tickets coming to and from the country, as well as the costs of visas by 64%, according to the provisions of the International Air Transport Association in the State of Kuwait.
As the International Air Transport Association in Kuwait (IATA) mentioned in Biyatah al-Khatami today, that the prices of airline tickets have varied greatly over the past twenty years, as well as visa prices from the governor of Kuwait.
In this regard, the federation indicated that travel tickets were reduced by 64%, compared to twenty years ago, until the average price of return tickets to and from Kuwait reached 293 USD.
Without imposing any fees or taxes, according to a report issued today by the International Air Transport Association, which was published by the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas on its official website and in its issue issued today.
Hence, the Kuwaiti Federation estimated the number of passengers in 2019 at about 4.54 billion passengers, with an increase of 4% in 2020 expected to 4.72 billion passengers.
Adding that the average net profit for each traveler is $ 5.7, at the very least, expecting that profit to increase to more than six dollars in 2020.
Through what has been published today in the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas, the federation indicated that the air transport sector will record at the end of this year, profits estimated at 25.9 billion US dollars.
As it is mentioned that all expectations previously had referred to 28 billion, more than this year, which came a little disappointing, especially in terms of shipping, which recorded 61.2 million tons during the year 2019, which is the lowest rate during the past three years.
