Bahrain ranks first among the best countries for expatriates

In the annual global report, Bahrain succeeded in getting the first place among the best countries in the Middle East to attract foreign expatriates.

The Kingdom of Bahrain ranked first in the Middle East and North Africa, according to the annual survey conducted by the International Network, strengthening its position in 2018.

This is the second time that the State of Bahrain has succeeded in obtaining the first place.The global report praised the State of Bahrain and its government, and its lifestyle, for its attractive position to make it a prominent place in the growing financial and technological services sector.

The report also pointed out that Bahrain ranked first and second in the region according to the main criteria measured by the opinions of expatriates, where it achieved first place in the ease of residence, quality of family life, and low cost of living in the region. In the second place, and in other criteria, in the aspects of «personal finance», «study abroad», and «lifestyle».

The network added that the ranking was based on a number of rules, the most important of which are job satisfaction, job entertainment and job security, which means that respondents in Bahrain find security and have the opportunity to balance work and personal life requirements.

Also included in the report from the Foundation's quality of life index in the International Survey was the views of expatriates on their leisure options, health, safety and security, and personal happiness.
